Sheikh Zoubir : Mahabatullah Part 2 & finale (The love of Allah)

These are the group of people who Allah loves:

❤️ Muttaqin :
people who compete to gain Allah's Love 
- when anything (and everything) you speak, think of, do is all about ALLAH 
- like we are obsessed with Allah, can't wait to be with Allah, because we love Him --> this is how Rasulullah SAW is 

The story of Prophet Musa & the angel of Death.
When the angel of death (Izrail) met Prophet Musa Alaihissalam (AS), he punched him . When the angel went back to Allah SWT to report on this (although Allah SWT knows everything), Allah said ," convey to Musa, that with the fur of an ox, that you touch with your hand, we will give you (Musa) 1 year (extension of your life, if you do not wish to die now). 

he angel went back to Prophet Musa AS & conveyed this, and Prophet Musa AS asked,"Will in the end there'll be death? " 

The angel answered yes, and then prophet Musa agreed to die on that day.  

In contrast, Rasulullah SAW welcomed the angel of death & refused when offered an extension of his life. Rasulullah SAW loves Allah SWT so much that he could not wait to meet Allah SWT. 

Allah's love is eternal as compared to humanly love & He is the shifa' (brings cure of all illnesses)
- the biggest sign of Allah's love: MAGHFIRAH (forgiveness) , as maghfirah equal to  Jannah 

In the surah Ali-Imran ayat 31, Allah reminded us how to show our love towards HIM - "if you love Allah, fattabi'uni" (follow Rasulullah SAW) 
- if we cannot follow the small sunnah, we cannot do big sunnah for example, eating with our right hand, always have something to cover the head (for men), be nice to the neighbours etc, as compared to the bigger sunnah which is jihad
- However we should question ourselves,  how can we do jihad, if we cannot even pray at the first Saf in the masjid (for men)
- we cannot conquer the enemy if we cannot conquer ourselves (eg during tarawikh, restless & wants to go back). Once we are in battle field, we are facing merciless enemy of Allah who would kill us. If we cannot even conquer our nafs, how can we face a bigger enemy?

❤️Muhsinin
- people who worship Allah as if they see Him. If they don't see Him, verily Allah see them 
- these people always feel the presence of Allah in everything we do eg when we sit in a class learning about the dean, when we are working etc
- Muhsinin are also defined as generous people who gives infaq for the sake of all (in abundance)



❤️Mutawakkilin
- people who really put their hope ONLY upon Allah 
- these people do not depend on people at all , they would leave everything that Allah hates eg working with a company who do riba, although it may mean they will be jobless, as they believe there will be other jobs available, as Allah is the Provider, and not the company
- Rasulullah defined tawakkal as follows: when we wake up in the morning, not depending on anyone, leave our home with tawakkal as if a bird who left their nest in the morning , and comes back to the nest with a full stomach (al-hadith)

Tawakkul- depends on people (the opposite of mutawakkilin) 
- eg children not trained to be independent , cannot do house chores, cannot do simple tasks 


❤️Mujahidin 
- peopla who fight for Allah's sake 
- they will kill & be killed
- they will be fighting in a saf (sign of unity) 
- they stand up for injustice 
- and we cannot be hating someone who is loved by Allah ?(Do not hate the mujahiddin who are fighting for the sake of Allah like those in Palestine)

❤️Tawwabin 
- people who do taubat regardless they sin or not sin 
- istighfar even after we do ibadah like after solat, zakat, umrah , after a majlis - it shows our humility 
- Sa'id Ibn jubair : I didn't find myself amongst the muhsinin, mutawakkilin, mujahidin but I am amongst the tawwabin (his humbleness)

❤️Mutatahhirin 
- physically clean - self, office, home, 

- Muslim are known to be clean. During the war in Spain, the 

crusaders identify the muslims houses by identifying clean 

houses (and they will kill the occupants) 

- unfortunately the cleanest city nowadays is tokyo. Japanese the cleanest people . Do dakwah because if the Japanese embrace Islam, they can bring Islam much further. 

- it is our fitrah (nature), that we love cleanliness even babies

 (hence they cry when the diaper is dirty) 

- non Muslims in France buy meat from muslim shops as the  

 meat are clean 

How to love Rasulullah SAW? 

We cannot love Rasulullah & follow him if we don't know 

him 

- attend classes to get to know him 

- once you know Rasulullah, you will start loving Rasulullah

 
- sheikh Zoubir's seerah class (Saturday in TTDI) 

Sunnahs are encompassed of 3 things

1- things that Rasulullah did

2- things that Rasulullah said 

3- things that he didn't do, but the sahabah did & Rasulullah 

approved 

Examples of sunnah

 
- gets married in Syawal (married Aisha RA) 

- sit on one leg during eating 

- most of the time he covers his head 

- tahajjud at the last third of the night 

- sunnah to sleep right after isyak 

The westerners are great not because their way of life, but

 their way of work. 

There are sunnahs only for Rasulullah (and not for us)

1) wajib for Rasulullah to do qiam 

2) only Rasulullah can marry more than 4 at one time 

3) marrying Aisha RA at young age 

4) marrying Khadeejah RA who is older than him 

30,000 hadith narrators are ladies, not a single one appear in

 hadith ma'zhub (lied upon) 

A lot of hadith ma'zhub are from men narrator 

Hadith will not be accepted by a person who is

 
- urinating standing 

- riding on a very young donkey (zalim)

Nowadays these acts are equivalent to (eg)

- wear t-shirt Manchester/ Barcelona (cross & red devil on

 the shirt) 

- wearing Bermuda shorts 

- wearing Versace/ YSL / La coste (read on the founders)

Imam Bukhari : only accepted 7000 hadith from a million 

hadith 

Imam Ahmad : memorize 1,000,000 Hadith 

Rasulullah only allowed Abdullah Ibn Umar to write the 

hadith 

The rest are only allowed to write Al-Quran as the Quran was

 still being revealed (to avoid confusion) 

Only 100 Hadith qudsi are authentic

Hadith is also a wahyu as Allah inspire Rasulullah to say 

them 

If Allah give us test after test when we start going to become a 

good muslim, remember the Rasulullah SaW's seerah 

- born yatim 

- married Khadeejah & lost her at the most critical time 

- hurt during the battles etc

- fell sick

But all is because ALLAH love him

Another sign ALLAH loves us: 

Taufiq - all our opinion is guided by Allah ( wahyu will not be 

given anymore but intuition is given to a lot of good people 

esp mothers) 

Another sign: people love us 

Careful , there are people who love you for money/fame etc 

Let people love you for your knowledge , makes difference in 

people's life. 

Another sign, we do good to our parents, it shows that 

ALLAH love us

Sheikh Zoubir: Mahabatullah Part 1 ( The love of Allah)

Assalamualaikum Wrh Wbt, 

After a long break, Alhamdulillah our Monday class with Shiekh Zoubir has recommenced on the 9th February 2015. 

This time the topic was: 

Signs of the people who love Allah & Allah loves him 

Amongst the proofs that we love Rasulullah SAW are:

- we follow Al-Quran & sunnah 

- we learn the seerah 

-we  imitate Rasulullah SAW eg follow the way he treated the orphans, the wives, the neighbours

A lot of Muslims nowadays are already at the state of "riddah" (murtad) . Eg

- fighting against Muslims under the flag of non muslim 

- mocking the sunnah eg why woman cannot marry 4 men, why woman cannot inherit like a man 

We must be aware that just like going to the toilet nullify wudhu, there are some things that can nullify our shahadah (Nauzubillahiminzalik, May Allah protect us from it)

The translation of Surah 5, verse 54 mentioned that:
- if we don't do what ALLAH wants us to do, ALLAH will bring a group of people whom He will love & they will love Him, with these qualities 

1) humble towards the believers 

2) tough / stern towards the non-believers (not necessarily fight them but dislike them till they become Muslims) 

3) ready to fight for Allah's sake 

4) not afraid of blame / what people might say about you 

Sheikh related to us the story of Abdul Rahman Ibn Abu Bakr ( the son of Abu Bakr the companion of Rasulullah SAW), who was a non believer during the battle of Badar. During the Badar battle, every time he saw his father , Abu Bakr, he would avoid him to avoid fighting and killing his own father, although his father was an old man & can be taken over easily. Abdul Rahman Ibn Abu Bakr became a Muslim later on & joined the Muslim army during the battle of Uhud , alongside his father Abu Bakr. He told him, that during the battle of Badar , he used to avoid him, but Abu Bakr replied, "Had I saw you during that battle, I would have killed you myself (as you were a non believer)". This shows that the companion of the Prophets love the deen more than their family ties, as described in the 2 qualities in the above mentioned surah. 

The comparison of our iman to our daily life, it is like you are on a plane , the higher the altitude the smaller you see things on the ground . The higher the iman, the smaller you will see other things like criticism, worldly things and love of our loved ones, compared to the love to Allah. 

Hadith Qudsi: 

Allah will declare war to those who fight against the believers (Allah himself will protect the believers) 

Allah loves us if we do the things Allah prescribed towards us which is : 

- 5 pillars of Islam

- the sunnahs like dhuha, tahajjud, rawatib --> until Allah loves him, so much so until Allah becomes his hearing when he hears, and his sight when he sees, and his hand when he strike, and his legs when he walks 

--> they have the intuition like a person who knows they are going to die that particular day --> blessings from Allah 

And he ask Me something, I will give him. If he seeks forgiveness  I will give him. (HR Abu Hurairah) 

Amongst the signs that Allah love us are: 

1) tests that Allah give us (wealth or poverty, sickness or health, fear) 

2) Allah make it easy for us to do good things eg easy to attend class, to do zikr, to do good , love to go for ibadah , for umrah 

When we pray for something, but Allah has not given it to us,it is either

1) we have not reach His love yet , He wants us to beg "Ya Rabb, Allahumma" more till we reach His love 

or 

2) some personal doa Allah keeps it, but if we ask for a lot of people, Allah will give immediately. 

Sheikh related to us a story of a terrible draught in Madinah (after the time of the Prophet) . It had not rained in Madinah for so long that people are started to become desperate for water. The people of Madinah prayed to ask for rain, and yet Allah did not give them rain, although Rasulullah himself named the people of Madinah as the people with the best iman, in his hadith. 

One day a cobbler went into Masjidil Nabawi , prayed 2 rakaat & prayed "By Your name, Allah, please give us rain". As he was finishing his doa, the cloud covered the city and it rained , with thunder. After that the cobbler went home. 

Another man tried to search for him about what good deed that he has done to the point that his doa was answered immediately. The cobbler closed his door & left the city, never to be seen again. 

Morale of the story: 
- albeit he was only a cobbler, he has a high station in the eyes of Allah,and he is very close to Allah that his doa was answered immediately. 
- a doa which is for the benefit of the ummah as compared to an individual requests, will be answered by Allah quickly, in shaa Allah. 
- humility is a gift. The cobbler didn't want to be known to the point that he left the city. His anonymity perhaps is what keeping him close to his Creator 

Sheikh Zoubir (5) : The Judgement Day

Sheikh Zoubir

The day of judgement (Yaumal Qiamah) 

Mentioned in Quran many times 

- Surah Qiamah

- Surah Al-zalzalah (Yaumal akhir) 

- Al-haaqah (another name of Yaumal Qiamah) - the day of accountability 

We must believe that the whole universe will end & die, not just us. 

After the day of judgement, there will be no day, except eternity 

No Monday/ Tuesday etc only Friday will remain for us to see Allah 

If there is still Monday/ tues etc, it means there will be the end, at least the end of that week. 

Yaumal Qiamah: the beginning of eternity , no day or night in Jannah, no sun. We got the light from the Nur of Allah, perfect as it doesn't burn our skin like the sun 

Al-hayaatuddunia : there is an end to this 

Al-hayaatulalkhirat: the life with no end 

- No end for pleasure in Jannah nor any end to pain if one in the hellfire (Nauzubillahi min zalik) 

Taubat nasuha to gain Jannah 

All human from Adam AS till the last person being called by Allah, all will be naked but no one worry about that as everyone is so worried about Jannah or hellfire 

Even Nabi Ibrahim ask who is Ismail & Ishak? Why do I have to do with these two 

Nabi Musa doesn't know Nabi Harun 

Maryam will not recognize Isa AS

Nabi Muhammad is the only person who will think & looking for his ummat 

Allah will reward those of Al-Abrar (those who do Bir/khair) - all sort of kindness --> in jannatunna'im 

- smile all the time 

- don't harm people 

- remove things from the pathway 

The opposite of Al-Abrar : Fujjar (plural of fajir) - in jahim (hellfire) 

Smart people don't let a day pass without doing good 

- khair : other than solat

After the ten signs, the Muslims died from the breeze that will be blown from shams, under the nose or under the armpit, we will die of a peaceful death . Only the bad people remains 

Then the trumpet being blown by israfil : the blow is so strong that not only the human die, the noise is so loud that earthquake will starts, explosion happen in the oceans, the sky starts falling like pieces of glass 

Even the people/ creatures of the heavens die 

Only 4 angels remain with Allah 

- Izrail 

- israfil

- Jibrail 

- mikail 

Allah asked Izrail to take the life of Jibrail , he was praying at that time. Izrail gave him salam & tell him Allah asked to  take his life after the prayers. 

He prayed," Allah please make the fate of death easy on me" - (morale: do our prayers till the end of our lives)

Then Allah asked to take the life of Mikail 

Mikail was preparing the cloud , Izrail told him Allah asked to take his life. 

He said the same doa. (Morale: do not stop doing our duty till our time comes to return to Allah) 

Then Allah asked Izrail to take the life of Israfil 

Israfil was preparing to blow his trumpet (the second calling to resurrect humans) & Izrail told him Allah asked to take his life , and he did after Israfil made the same doa. 

Then Allah asked Izrail to take his life in between Jannah & jahim 

Then Allah ask who remains, and no one answer. 

Allah ask "who is the king of all kingdom?" And He answered He is. (And truly only He is the King) 

The first one to be resurrected is Israfil to blow again & resurrected everyone 

- Allah send rain & we grew from our little bone at the end of the vertebrae (coccyx) 

- our souls will be send back into our bodies

- Allah will program us to stand in mahsyar where there is no mountain/ no trees/ no rocks, it is a flat surface 

- we are not even allowed to walk one step forward or backward. 

- even the malaikat will line up 

(For each human being, there will be 99 malaikat) 

- no human allowed to speak unless whom Alllah allow them to. 

- even if we speak, it'll be the truth 

How long is this day? 

50,000 years 

Wise people do qiyamullail, tarawikh & hajj to prepare for the big day to stand up for a long time. 

The first one to be judge is Nabi Muhammad SAW but it'll be a light judgement 

(We pray Allah make it easy for us & goes to Jannah without judgement )

Always attribute the good deed to Allah , the bad deeds from ourselves 

We will be called by our names, son or daughter of our mothers 

We are the lucky ones if our books come into our right hands. Always use our right hand so that we get use to using the right hand 

Mentioning of this day of judgement in:

Surah Arrahman 

Surah al-anbiya 

Surah Az-zariyat

Elements of Faith: 

- Makrifatullah 

- Makrifatul Yaumal Qiamah 

Surah At-takathur : we pile up our property, shoes, clothes till we enter the grave 

Those who accept the book with their left hand, have no one to blame but themselves 

When Allah created the universe, He put His Mercy into 100 parts, He gave 1 part into the universe & 99 parts were kept for the Day of Judgement 

Don't look down on sins 

A small sin can spoil a big good deed eg backbiting, urinating while standing up & didn't clean himself

The Mizan: the scale of good deeds & bad deeds 

- a lot of good deeds: go to heaven 

- a lot of bad deeds: to the hellfire 

- 50-50 deeds, they will be in Al-aaraf 

- it will be a fair trial , Allah will ask "Did we wronged you?"

Then it is the time to cross the Siratul Mustaqim 

Everyone will cross it, the Muslims & non Muslims . Those who gets the book with their right hand, will cross it. Those with bad deeds will fall

Underneath it is the hellfire 

One man will crossed like lightning: Abu Bakar As-Siddiq (spreading good deeds ) 

Others cross it like:

Running horses

Running 

Walking 

Struggling but still cross it successfully 

If you fall, it will take 50 years to reach the bottom of hell 

After the heavens' gate is sealed, Allah will ask Izrail to bring death in shape of a sheep & asked him to slaughter it. There will be no death after this 

Hadith: when Allah called us , we will not even allowed to move , until s/he is asked on 4 things 

- your life (umur) & how you spend it 

- your youth & what did you do with it? (13-30 years old) --> a lot of us make sin during young. It's good to send the kids to pondok/ learn Quran/ grow up in masjid - children are our investment 

- where did you get your money & how do you spend it (we gain halal income but we spend on handbags? Aren't there any orphan people around you? Those in need? )

- your knowledge , what did you do with your knowledge (eg praying sunnah after Zuhr, fasting every Monday & thurs, sedekah) 

The Shiekh reminded us on: 

1) Treat your sick family by sedekah (Al-hadith) 

2) Spend money on akhirah 

- eating & drinking well

- umrah 

- hajj 

- buy nice clothes 

- no point on storing money only 

When we put to grave, we feel like we are napping in between Zuhr & Asar only. The Fujjar will feel like it's a lifetime 

How is Rasulullah's shafaat ? 

Shafaat Rasulullah: 

In a hadith narrated by Anas bin Malik, he asked Rasulullah how do I find you in Yaumal akhirah? Rasulullah replied, "Look for me in 3 places 

- Al-kauthar 

- Siratul Mustaqim (at the beginning of the bridge)

- the left hand side of the Allah's throne during the weighing (mizan), so that those in trouble, Allah send them to the left, then Rasulullah intercede & will ask Allah to forgive us. He will say "he is one of my ummah Ya Allah, please forgive him." Anas bin Malik asked, how do you know us? Rasulullah answered because you always say salawat to me

And your faces , your hands & feet will glow from your wudhu'"

Let us say salawat to Rasulullah SAW 

Allahuma solliala saidina Muhammad wa alaa aali Muhammad... ❤️
