Sheikh Zoubir (1) : Signs of the Judgement Day - the Minor Signs

Here is the second part of the Tazkirah by Sheikh Zoubir about the signs of the Judgement Day, on the 20th October 2014

Signs of the Judgement Day 

Rasulullah was being asked several times but Rasulullah didn't know the actual date, but there are signs, and the signs are to strengthen our iman 

Hadith Jibrail or hadith Umar also stated about the day of judgement 
- he looked like a stranger but didn't have sign of travelling - clean clothes etc
- he called Rasulullah "Muhammad", all the sahabah called him by the title, not the name. 
- he sat very close to Rasulullah that his knees touches Rasulullah's knees, and he put his hands on the prophet's thigh. 
- he asked about Islam, Iman, ihsan 
- what is the day of judgement 
- morale behind the hadith: cannot leave while the teacher is talking (manners) 

The point is not when will qiamat happen but how do we prepare for it? 

Qiamat 2 types 
- small : our death 
- big : qiamat

Al-masih: masaha : wipe or erase 
- he erase distance, speed to enter cities etc 
- every prophet from Nuh AS warned their people about Dajjal - the worst that can come 

The Minor signs of The Day of Judgement 
- more than a hundred signs 

Do a lot for taubat - not only for sinners. - no taubat will be accepted once the sun rise from the west 

Al-amarat ba'idah (the far signs ) 
- birth of Rasulullah SAW

- the passed away of Rasulullah SAW

- splitting of the moon 

- death of sahabah 

- the muslim open Baitul Maqdis 

- a lot of fitnah - money (number 1 fitnah to human), 
How many of us wake up for work vs wake up for Allah , soccer match vs solatul fajr in masjid, fitnah of gender , fitnah of TV, fitnah of wasting time (wasting of life), riba, fitnah of children (more time spent for children than Allah), fitnah of worshiping ourselves (spending hours on the mirror). -> beautify ourselves to go out but not to face Allah 

- huge fire in Madinah that arise from the ground 

- Rasulullah mentioned that the news will come to our houses & we will be entertained - sahn/ plate / bowl in each house (eg Astro discs)
unfortunately Sheikh said,  we concentrate on hadith on taharah & wudhu but we don't read the rest of the hadith including the one that mentioned about the signs of the Day of Judgement

- major war between 2 groups of muslim- battle of Saffin 

- Khawarij will reject Ali RA

- people who claim they are prophet ( 30 people, so far 29 has claimed) 

- fighting of the Turks - Lawrence of Arabia ( when the Rasulullah said this, the Turks were not muslim yet. The Turks became muslim at the time Uthman) 

- rise of the oppressive people who will be hitting people with baton & whip

- ummah killed - Palestine, Syria , Egypt (5000 people killed in 9 hours in rabia). 

- the Muslims following & do exactly like the westerners - Gucci etc., eating with the left hand etc, 

- women giving birth to their boss i.e. mothers afraid of their daughters. 

- men marrying their slave woman, when the woman get pregnant, the daughter will become the princess 

- high rising building built by poor people 

- tall building in land of najd - example in  Riyadh 

- business everywhere.  Only a little do agriculture 

- world trade organization - all over the world have to follow a certain rules, controlled by Jewish 

- wife doing business with husband - woman shouldn't be doing bisnes but she should be enjoying her motherhood etc.
 - Khadijah had the wealth but she hired men to do the business, not herself. She proposed through a third party, to Rasulullah. 

- the control of some business only by some person. - eg rice/ sugar

- false testimony- rampant 

- ummah will be Jahil about Islam (we are suppose to be the ummah of Iqra) 
- in Iraq at the time of tabi'in, the slave girl's knowledge is the same like today's scholars 

- greed & stinginess amongst Muslims (everyday one ringgit a day for sedekah) - do not let a day pass without giving 

- severing the ties (silaturrahim) 

- bad neighbors 

85 signs altogether 

Major signs of the Day of Judgement
- Masih Al-Dajjal

- ad-Dukhan : the smoke ️from the sky (not haze, not from the earth) 

- the animal (Daabatul Ardh)

- sun rising from the west 

- nabi Isa comes down from heaven

- Yaakjuj & makjuj

- 3 major earthquake (west, east & in arab country)

- the fire from yaman that gathers people 


As the conclusion, Sheikh reminded us that no one can deceive you if you follow AlQuran & sunnah at all times

Sheikh Zoubir (2): Signs of the Judgement Day - Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal

Alhamdulillah mulai minggu lalu, kuliah Zuhr yang biasa diadakan di Fakulti Perubatan UiTM telah di sambung. 

Penceramah yang didatangkan khas dari UIA iaitu Sheikh Zubair, berkongsi ttg Dajjal. 

Oleh kerana kuliah diadakan di dalam bahasa  Inggeris , saya turut sampaikan dlm bahasa yang sama ya. Semoga mendapat manfaat & silalah rujuk Kitab-Kitab hadith untuk mencari perawi hadith- hadith ini in shaa Allah

Signs of day of judgement 

Al-Masih Al-dajjal : anti-Christ 

All minor signs that has been mentioned by Rasulullah SAW, has been witnessed 

Now are the major signs are very near 

Alamatus sa'ah (signs of the day) 

Minor signs 

1) Rasulullah 

2) change from khalifah to monarch ( and in the end will change back to Khalifah) 

3) spread of riba 

4) changes of male to female & acknowledgement by Muslims eg pondan, Mak Andam  etc 

5) high rise building 

Rasulullah asked us to seek refuge from Allah from Al-masihuddajjal 

- Rasulullah mentioned about dajjal every Friday to the sahabah 

The description of Dajjal

- a man (from the prodigy of Adam AS)

- big body 

- dark face (not white or black) 

- curly hair & red

- the red eye like a grape & blind

- on his forehead "kafir"

- beard coming out towards people 

- his leg opposite one another (weird) 

- walks like a duck (waddle) 

- voice from his nose 

- he doesn't have children 

Is he born already? 

Already born & handcuffed & hidden somewhere (authentic hadith) 

- born to weak parents , got him at old age (30years of marriage) 

- father is tall & has long nose 

- mother is weird, big chests  & long hands 

Is he mentioned in the Quran? 

Yes but not in name 

- Surah al-An'am 158 (the sign is the dajjal) 

- once dajjal appear,( the major sign) the iman is off no use if you don't believe in Him before 

Where is he? 

- Fatimah bint Quwais narrated the hadith , she prayed behind Rasulullah & Rasulullah said, "sit down, don't leave, I have something to tell you. Sit at your place. I have no reason to call you except a Tamim Ad-dari (former nasrani) told me exactly what I have told you about dajjal. "

He (Tamim) went on a ship with 30 men from Lahm & Judain (tribes who lived near the sea). There was bad weather & they got lost 1 month in the sea. 

Then they found an island near Maghribi. They went into the island & found new creation (hairy, they cannot recognise the face or the back), they ask what are you? They said "I am the spy of the island. I am a spy of something big. Follow me, there is someone waiting eagerly for news (cuffed at the hands/ feet/knees/ neck). "We thought it was the syaitan so we were scared. We asked is this syaitan? Albeit feeling scared, we followed as we needed water. "

They entered the place. They saw the biggest human body (huge), we have seen him chained from his neck & feet. We asked him what happened to you. He answered, you have known about me. You told me first who you are? We answered, we got lost & found this place. He asked does the spy (jassasah) brought you? We answered yes otherwise we wouldn't know where to find you

Then he said "Tell me about the palm tree of Bisan (this place with the best dates)". 

Is it still giving fruit? 

Sahabah: Yes

Dajjal: Very soon that land will not give fruit anymore 

Then he said, tell me about the lake of Tabariah. Does it still have water? 

Sahabah: Yes 

Dajjal: Very soon it will lose the water ( the lake between Palestine & Jordan, drying 1 meter a year now) 

Then he said," Tell me about the spring of Zuhr, does it still have water & people still use it for agriculture? "

Sahabah: Yes

Dajjal: Soon no more (now that spring has indeed dried up)

Then he asked:

"Tell me about the Rasul of the the ummi "

They (sahabah) said, " he was in Makkah & then moved to Yathrib "

Dajjal: Does the arab fought him? 

Sahabah: Yes 

Dajjal: Did he win or lose? 

Sahabah: He won (Badr). 

Then he said: 

"If they (the arab) follow him, it's good for them" ( morale: even the enemy acknowledged Rasulullah)

Note: it is not impossible for Dajjal to be of big size as people of Ad & Thamud were also big. 

Makkah & Madinah is the only places Dajjal cannot enter. 

Dajjal's Army - there will be war. 

They will emerge, from the east of Makkah, sea of Iran. 

We can read more in the book titled : Tribulation of the day of judgement (Fitnah-fitnah qiamat)

Hadith: He will come from Khurasan, a city called Marru from the community of Jewish - not a normal jewish as he claim he is a prophet , later he claimed he is God. 

13,000 thousand women will follow him 

70,000 of Jewish of Iran will follow them. 

How does he impress people? 

He use magicians (bomoh), saharah (magic) 

He has a donkey - between the 2 ears is 40cm. (Huge) - doesn't listen except to him. 

- note: like Shrek with donkey 

He will enter each & every city. No city will take longer than 40 days for him to take over, he use black magic. 

You can only defense from black magic with Al-Quran (recite them aloud) 

Sign of Dajjal coming 

- comet hailey (star with long tail that travels) 

- rivers start drying up (no more water) even in Selangor!

- spread of famine & hunger 

- dry out of Tabariah lake 

- death of the land of Bisan 

He will use black magic to convince people 

Last note from Sheikh: People are not serious about religion nowadays

- can go for football match but not for Fajr prayers . Eg Kedah Vs Kelantan, the whole stadium will be filled but look at the masjid the following Fajr. 

Allahu alam... May we take these reminders seriously... and prepare ourselves in shaa Allah...
